WHAT ARE STRATEGIC DOMAINS?

Strategic domains are the key business goals (or drivers) in your innovation strategy. Domains can vary depending on the company, or goals you want to achieve. Common examples for strategic domains are: becoming market leader, more sustainable, making (social) impact, improve customer satisfaction, lowering operational cost etc. In Accept Mission you can score ideas and projects based in relation to these domains to find out which ideas or projects have the most strategic fit with your innovation strategy .

SETTING YOUR STRATEGIC DOMAINS

Super admins can set and edit strategic domains. Strategic domains can be found in Settings: Innovation Strategy.

USING STRATEGIC DOMAINS TO MEASURE THE STRATEGIC FIT

Strategic domains can be found in idea box idea cards and/or project cards under in the SCORE tab.

  • When opening an idea card, you can rate this idea in relation to the strategy domains of the company by moving sliders from left to right. When all domains are rated, Accept Mission automatically generates an "Average Strategic Fit" based on an average of all individual strategy domain scores. The goal here is to give the user a quick overview whether the idea suits the innovation strategy of the company.

  • When opening a project card. Likewise the way strategy domains are rated for ideas in inboxes a user can also rate a project based on strategic domains, by opening a project and rating "Innovation Strategy" element in the SCORE tab.

Tip: After you added scores to ideas cards, you can easily search, filter, analyse, and compare ideas in the IDEAS listview.
