  • Funnels

Departments in Reports and Dashboard

On the main innovation dashboard, you can set a filter on Department to filter all results according to the set department or departments.

Department as a security group

You can also use departments as security groups. In addition to manual user groups, you can directly assign a whole department to access a mission or a funnel. Ensure you always keep the user's department up to date, and items' security (and visibility) will work accordingly.

Departments in the 'Innovation Portal'

On the Innovation portal (where users land), you have a section you can turn show/hide on the home page to show departments. Users can click on the department link and see all the ideas, projects, missions, and users connected to that department.

This is very useful for providing departments/teams with a way to feel their own innovations.

Tip: The users on the department landing page are always sorted based on XP, so you have a leaderboard of department users there.
