How to Keep Projects Private (confidential)

Make sure you keep project confidential (private) for other users.

Updated over 2 weeks ago

In Accept Mission, it's just as important to control who can see and manage your projects as it is with ideas. Whether you're working on confidential innovation initiatives or early-stage experiments, here’s how to ensure projects remain private and secure.

✅ 1. Project Funnel Settings

Privacy for projects is managed via Project Funnels in the Innovation Studio. These settings allow you to control who can view or manage projects within a specific funnel.

Here’s how to set it up:

  1. Go to the Innovation Studio.

  2. Navigate to the Project Funnel you want to configure.

  3. Click on Edit Funnel.

  4. Go to the Access tab.

  5. Configure these key options:

    • User Access: Set this to Private to ensure that the project funnel (and all its projects) are not visible in the Innovation Portal unless users have been granted access.

    • Admin Access: Set this to Private if you want to limit access to a select group of admins.

After setting these to private, you’ll need to manually add the users or groups who should have access.

📝 Tip: Use this setup when managing sensitive or strategic projects that are not ready for broader exposure.
