Of course, as the name suggests, ideas are ideas.... but sometimes you are not collecting ideas but rather collecting problems, risks, new challenges, goals, etc. You can change the input type of a Mission in your mission settings.
Configure the Mission input type
Open your Mission > Details > Mission Input Type
This will ensure that all new items added to this Mission are automatically connected to the configured Mission Type.
