How to configure a submit notification. After a user submits an idea

A submission notification is a message that can be sent to an individual who has submitted an idea, either through a campaign or the company's idea box. This notification may be displayed directly on the screen and/or sent via email.

Why to use a submit notification?

There could be multiple reasons to make use of this notification:

  • Thank the user for adding an idea

  • Invite the user to add another idea

  • Explain how the process will work after submission

  • Stimulate the user to tell others also to submit ideas

  • A personal message from the Business owner or a sponsor

  • Tell the user what he/she needs to do with the idea. For example, collect likes before the team reviews the idea.

Where can you configure the notification?

Two tools offer this Notification feature: 'Company Idea Box' and the Campaign. Both can be found under Missions in the Innovation Studio.

Company idea box:

Innovation Studio > Missions > Idea Box > Tab: Notification

Campaigns:

Innovation Studio > Missions > Campaigns > Open campaign > Tab: Notification
